# Raising multilingual children – support your child’s language journey

Are you a parent or parent-to-be raising multilingual children? Then join us for an evening about language, culture and connection. Whether you live in Gladsaxe, live in a neighbouring municipality or simply work here, you’re welcome to join.

Many families in Gladsaxe are raising children who speak one or more languages at home, while learning Danish in their everyday life. It’s a gift, but it doesn’t always feel simple. How do you keep your language alive at home? How do you pass on culture and connection through language in a way that feels natural?

You’ll hear from Justin Markussen-Brown, a linguist and assistant professor whose research focuses on bilingual children’s language development.

You’ll learn about:

- how children acquire language

- the science behind childhood multilingualism

- practical techniques and strategies you can use at home.
